Taking the stairs, you’ll reach the third floor where you’ll find an extremely cozy apartment with an unbeatable view and a gigantic terrace with almost complete privacy. Here, you can enjoy the sun all day long. Shopping starts almost as soon as you step out the door, and the tram stops practically right outside.

The entire territory of De Panne is a paid parking zone.
Although there are certain periods during the year when this is not the case, it is always best to check the website because controls are quite strict.
To be sure, it is recommended to check this link to see what applies, as these periods vary each year and depend on school holidays.
You can also find all the information on the parking meter itself about 20 meters from the property.
A FEW TIPS
- Quickly look for a GREEN zone
- Upon arrival/departure, you may use the shop&go zone in front of the door for 30 minutes
- It's always best to purchase a day ticket
- The apartment is located in an Orange zone
- After unloading, set your GPS to Dynastielaan De Panne.
- From there, it's nice to return via the Esplanade and the seafront promenade.
- When you reach the Arizona bike rental, you can leave the promenade and you’ll be at the apartment.

There are very strict controls, and administrative fines (GAS) are immediately issued if you are caught illegal dumping.
Where can you dispose of your waste?
In one of the many waste islands. The closest one is just at the seafront (the first street) to the left of the apartment at 100m. There are also glass containers where you can deposit all your glass for free, even without a badge.

The kitchen doesn’t really hold any secrets.
- The stove is electric
- Has a glass, plate, or cup broken? Let us know. These things happen.
- The fridge cools adequately 99% of the time when set to 2. Raising it higher really isn’t necessary. It only makes the cooling element activate more frequently, which reduces cooling efficiency and prompts you to raise the setting further. This creates a vicious cycle.

- A fire blanket is located in the kitchen on the cupboards.

TRAM

- Download the "De Lijn" app on your phone and buy your tickets before boarding the tram
- You can always bring your bike on the tram. (and cycle back only with the wind at your back ;) )
- A ticket is valid for 1 hour. This is usually enough to reach Ostend or the station at Adinkerke (Plopsaland)
TRAIN
DO NOT GET OFF AT KOKSIJDE STATION Always get off at Adinkerke. There, a tram will be waiting to take you to De Panne.

This day always comes too early, but we'd like to ask you to follow a few steps before your departure:
- Collect the bed linen and (used) towels and place them in the laundry basket located in the bathroom.
- Gather and dispose of your waste. Use the badge attached to the keys for this.
- Send a message upon departure, so the cleaning team knows they can come.
- Turn off the heating.
- Turn off the lights.
- Return the keys to the locker and set the code to 0000.
- Please do not leave the dishes wet.

To keep things clear for our cleaning team, we adjust the number of made-up beds according to the number of reserved guests.
This means that if you book for two people, you will find one made-up bed upon arrival. If you book for more than two, both beds will always be made up.
This may cause confusion if you are not traveling as a couple. But we have a solution for that. You can always contact us to inform us a few days before arrival. In this case, we will provide an extra set of sheets for the price of €25.

We provide a folding bed free of charge for our guests. If you would like to use it, it would be helpful for us to know in advance.
We also have an extra mattress that can be used here. We find that this is only used on very rare occasions. Therefore, it will not be provided upon your arrival, just like the sheets. We have noticed that everyone has their own way of using sheets, sleeping bags, etc. So we leave that to the parents.
