Once you have received this message, you can access the property. You can decide your own arrival time and don't need to stress about adhering to a fixed schedule. Check-in is available from 4 PM at the latest. If our cleaning team finishes earlier, you will of course receive the code to enter earlier as well.

The entire territory of De Panne is a paid parking zone. Although certain times of the year may be exempt from fees, it is always best to check the website as checks are quite strict. To be sure, it is recommended to use this link to check the details, as these periods change each year depending on school holidays. You can also find all the information on the parking meter itself, located 20m from the property.

A FEW EXTRA TIPS
  • Look for a GREEN zone as soon as possible.
  • Upon arrival/departure, you might be able to use the shop&go zone in front of the property for 30 minutes.
  • It’s always best to get a day ticket.
  • The apartment is located in an Orange zone.
  • Drive towards Koksijde/St-Idesbald and park as soon as possible on the right side of the street.

We are sure you’d rather not stay in your own trash. Our municipality aims to make it easy for everyone to dispose of waste. At the same time, strict monitoring is enforced, and immediate GAS fines are issued if caught illegal dumping.

To make organizing this easier, we’ve already taken some steps.

Where can you dispose of your waste?
  • At one of the many waste islands.
  • The closest one is located right on the promenade, at 50m.
  • There are also glass containers where you can deposit all your glass for free, even without the badge.
How can you dispose of your waste?

We have attached a badge to the key you will find in the apartment.
By holding this badge to the reader, you can open the lid and deposit your waste.
You don't need to install anything or pay. We've already done that for you.

No hassle with uppercase and lowercase letters. You’ll find a QR code in the property that takes care of this for you. Just scan it, and you’re connected.

Make yourself at home, as energy is a valuable resource even during your vacation. Keep it cozy and warm. Enjoy the warm water flowing over your body. But make sure that when you're done or about to leave, everything is completely switched off, including all the lights. Want to ventilate during your stay? Do this while you're present, and not when you leave for a long trip with the heating running at full capacity.

The kitchen doesn’t really hold many secrets. Everything seems almost self-explanatory. Of course, there may always be small doubts. Here are a few possible answers.

  • Has a glass, plate, or cup broken? Let us know. These things happen, and this way, we can provide a replacement for the next guests.
  • The fridge cools adequately 99% of the time when set to 2. Raising it higher really isn’t necessary. This would only make the cooling element activate more often, reducing its efficiency, and you might feel the need to set it even higher. This creates a vicious cycle.

  • In case of emergency, you can always call 112.
  • The address is Kunstenaarslaan 9/1 unit 403.
  • The nearest hospital is AZ West in Veurne.
  • A fire blanket is located in the kitchen on the cupboards.
  • A fire extinguisher is located in the storage room between the kitchen and the bathroom.
  • Call the owner. You can find the number at the top of this page.

TRAM
  • The nearest tram stop: Canadezenplein.
  • Install the "De Lijn" app on your phone and purchase your tickets before taking the tram.
  • You can always take a bicycle on the tram (and only cycle back with the wind at your back 😉).
  • A ticket is valid for 1 hour. This should normally be enough to get to Ostend or the station in Adinkerke (Plopsaland).
TRAIN

DO NOT GET OFF AT KOKSIJDE STATION

Always get off at Adinkerke. A tram will always be waiting there to take you to Koksijde.

This always comes too soon, but we’d like to ask a few things. It would be nice to follow these guidelines before your departure.

  • Gather bed linens and (used) towels and place them in the laundry basket found in the bathroom.
  • Collect and dispose of waste. Use the badge attached to the keys for this.
  • Send a message upon leaving, so the cleaning team knows they can come.
  • Turn off the heating.
  • Turn off the lights.
  • Put the keys back in the locker and set the code to 0000.
  • Please do not leave the dishes wet.
